| Recently developed is a superior synthetic cleaner, lubricant and preservative, brandname DSX (Desert Storm-Formula), based on Fluoropolymer technology. DSX is a permanent lubrication and provides a transparent protective barrier against corrosion and wear in the surface of the treated article. DSX is not a film or laminate that lays on the surface, thus no critical tolerances of tight fitting parts are affected. The DSX fluoropolymer polymer submicron particle electrostatically embeds in the asperities or of the friction bearing surfaces and cannot be extracted unless the original surface is worn or ground away.
